I am Dustin Edwards. I am Department Head of Biological Sciences at Tarleton State University, in Stephenville, Texas, and I run the SEA-PHAGES program there: undergraduates dig bacteriophages out of local soil, sequence them, and annotate what they find.

I also build and run software, as a solo developer, on Cloudflare. This site is the working example rather than a description of one. It is a Worker, a SQLite database, an object store and a search index, and every claim it makes about itself is checked against its own source before it can deploy.

The two halves are the same habit. A result nobody can reproduce is a story, and a site that cannot check its own claims is a brochure.
